| We booked for two nights from the 8th Aug 2011 and wished we stayed for longer. Gill & Bill made us feel very welcome and the accommodation was excellent. The french doors from our beautiful bedroom opened onto a large balcony to give us superb views of the garden and the Moray Firth. The little touches made it for us from the fresh fruit, the scottish shortbread, luxury toiletries and freshly cut Scottish thistles. An all you could wish for breakfast, (the scrambled eggs n haggis was amazing) together with a view to die for from the breakfast room.We have already recommended it to several people. | Three years after our first journey in Scotland, and thirty days spent watching the astonishing landscape of the Highlands from our roadster car, Water’s Edge has been absolutely our best accommodation choice.It’s a very charming place, from the lovely room with terrace, to the wonderful front on the Moray Firth, to the elegance of interiors, to the quality and choices of breakfast, to the discreet atmosphere and the warm hospitality of Gillian and Bill. | Stayed there for our honeymoon for 4 days from 11th August 2010. | We have just returned from spending two nights at Water's Edge, and it's hard to describe how great it is.We can't recommend this B&B highly enough, it's amazing.Both Bill & Gill have worked hard to achieve their 5* award and truly deserve it. From their warm welcoming hospitality, stunning rooms,and the most breathtaking of views of the Moray Firth and the breakfast table is outstanding. If you are looking for B&B accommodation in Fortrose, I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else - just stay here. We assure you, you will not be disappointed. | Watersedge is a fantastic and welcoming B&B.The rooms are beautiful with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Bill & Gillian are excellent hosts very warm and friendly and their breakfasts are definitely 5 star quality. | We have just enjoyed the most wonderful time at this super Bed & breakfast in the lovely village of Fortrose. The house was just splendid and the owners Gill & Bill were so nice and helped us in every way they possibly could. | After just returning home from four wonderful nights we simply can't recommend Waters Edge highly enough. Bill and Jill create a lovely relaxed atmosphere in absolute 5 star surroundings. | A lot of 4 or even 5 star hotel managers should come to Jill and Bill to have a look and then make their hotels as comfortable and charming as this B & B! Nothing is missing in the rooms beginning with bathrobes internet connection cookies more different kinds of tea most people have at home bath amenities and so on. | We highly recommend Waters Edge 5 star it most certanly is. Our expectations were already high from the photos they exceeded those. Bill and Gill were a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in room 1 the room was exactly as in the pictures just beautiful with an amazing view of the Moray Firth. The breakfast was 3 courses if you wished with a varied menu that was presented and cooked to a very high standard Bills porridge is a must.
