John o' Groats

122 miles north of Water's Edge House

John o' Groats is up on the north east coast of Scotland, but it is not the most northerly point on the mainland, that title goes to nearby Dunnet Head. The harbour and the Last House museum are worth seeing, the latter is a tiny old cottage which contains a vivid pictorial display of the naval activities around this area and around Orkney during both World Wars.
